The art of kitchen efficiency

American produces on average 1 pound of food waste a day corresponding to about 25% of the food they bring home. The art of “kitchen efficiency” (i.e. the habits leading to low amount of waste while dining, shopping and cooking) has been lost and needs to be restored. This is an important matter as rotting food clogs up landfills and releases methane, a powerful greenhouse gas.

Plastiphoby / Wastephoby

Everything we buy cost a lot of resources, water, energy, labor, and it pollutes as well along the production/delivery process.
Reuse as much as possible, rent, repair.
Reduce buying or accepting plastic: get reusable/washable bags (check our Creative Reuse line), to-go containers and utensils, pick up litter,
Remember that when you have a shopping fever, over-consumerism is killing us!! and yes, sorry but it includes phone/electronic devices that should not be changed every year!! and clothes!!
Wastephoby in terms of energy as well! Switch off! Be efficient!

Sustainable living practices

Cleaning/beauty products that you are used to buy are actually not so good for you. They are toxic for you and the environment and they produce a lot of plastic waste. Don’t worry it is easy to switch back to cleaning/beauty products that have low impact on the environment. we can help there too.
